Damn HIGH today because today is the day! JUNIORS DEBUT SHOWCASE! MASQUERADE @ 7! I seriously had lotz of fun on the stage. Scaring people with the mask, dance like nobody's business. haha!
Ok let's start from the start shall we?
Mimi called me early in the morning asking me whether am I coming to school. I did went to school but for UT only. I think that it is pretty useless to attend half of meeting 1 and the whole of meeting 3. Need to prepare for performance mah, so need to keep running back and forth very troublesome. Plus we need to wear costume and do make up in class...I rather not so in the end, skip class. Faci demand for a email, but ShiJia and I don;t really care so much so in the end we just ask her to mark us absent and there we go!
I started sms every single person i can get from my phonebook to come and see the performance. Yong gave me a damn funny sms:"1 ndp for attendance, 1 nda for good rj. Rj must be 300 words or more. Rj qns is using one word to describe how Grace dance." LOL!
Wanted to go eat breadfast with YaoMing and JunHao but Mimi called me and ask me go e25p for makeup. It was an empty classroom and our make up artist for the day is Luke and Mel! Thanks guys for helping us to make up! They are good.
Problem starts coming in when Elaine, Mariam and Yanie was late and Luke needs to go so in the end they have to make up themselves. The other problem was Yanie was sick today, so we are all like thinking should we have back up plans or what. In the end Yanie pull through and dance all the way. GO YANIE!
When everyone in Soul Simple came, we all hide in the girls toilet to makeup. And yea.. the guys are in there too. Its just kinda cute to see all the girl started to 'stick' their faces on the mirror. haha! DashBots also came in to share the toilet too.
When the clock strikes 12pm all of us went in to the dressing room and this is when all of us starts to get excited, nervours, scared...whatever. We start preparing oursleves and we went hiding around the theatre. When the door closes and all the people has settled down, we start to wear our mask and start scaring them when the lights dim down. DAMN FUN! Then all of us started grooving in the back stage while the other groups are performing. When its my turn to dance, I seriously all out sia. I was seriously out of breath when my dance is over. Still say, during the gimmick I already started breathing heavily. Lucky our mask still can breath through easily...hee! After Soul Simple dance we went to prepare for the finale. So we have to went out and went in again beczuse we coming out from the side of the theatre instead of the stage. While running, saw w45g people sitting outside. So sad sia! So happy they came too despite the fact that they have to sit outside. Then came the finale! Fun!
After the whole performance, we keep taking photos. I went back w45g too. Went to see them and thanked them for coming. Some of the SCG members went to pizza hut and eat. Seriously cannot eat in front of YauMing, I laughed like nobody's business sia!
Came back school and went for a mini shopping at RP since there are so many shops. Bought a top for $10. Then all the SGC gathered at e4. Joanne almost make me cry sia. Coz she like scolding us as if we did very badly then out of nowhere she said that, "I am very disappointed by the way you rate yourself because I rate you guys 11/10!" Then all of us started to make noise. Tears welled up my eyes sia. haha! Then we have all the tibits from the seniors.
Well, today went home early which seem weird to me coz i havn been home early for quite some time. However, another performance is coming up, MUSE. I need to sell some tickets already and also need to stay back everyday to practice. Yet another tough training. That is why I always say, dance is nothing but hardwork. Only passion is the one that is driving me to be in dance for so long.
Saw Shah at canteen with her friend today. And we started chatting. Damn long didn't see her liao. She came to watch the show! Thanks shah!
I would like to thank those people who came to watch our showcase. Hopefully you guys did not regret coming. People like W45G who sit ouside and watch and Wesley and Shah and...I don't know who else. Kinda sad that Most of the W15E don't have a place to sit in the theatre :( I also like to thank Luke and Mel for the make up. Thank Joanne, our mentor, who is like always there to help us. Thank all the seniors for all the comments and suggestions in helping us to improve ourselves. Thank Larry and Zainee too for some tips in performing.
