Finally back to Singapore after soooo long. I miss my lappy, my phony, my bed...haha :P I also miss my friends lah, those new made friends and 'old' friends. And yea...Im feeling very hot right now. Sian.
Let's start from Youth Camp.
Our camp this year happens to be a mobile camp. So we will be moving around and this is also based on the book of Exodus where Moses led the Israelite out of Eygpt and into the promised land. All of us were split in to 6 different groups. My team is Levi and Im the leader for the team. My team consist of Sherman, JiaCuen, Marcus, Mothi, Christopher, Grace, Rebecca, Anotonia, Shawn, EnQi and Brandon.
The first stop was at Sentosa. It was a nice sunny hot weather where we experienced the 10 plaugues at the different places of Sentosa. We also had a night walk at the Dragon's Trail which was really good! We dun have to be blindfolded and the place was reeally so dark until I really cant see much. Then at night we slept at the Pavillian which was one of the worst nights i ever had, on the cold hard floor with mosquitos buzzing around you ears and sucking your blood. Nice... The next morning most of us are covered with sands with the games we played. Fun but dirty.
Second stop was Christine CampSite. Played some water games like water bomb where we have to destroy each other's 'lollipop'. we also played human fooseball. Super damn funny and fun, even though I didn play most of the games but yea it was still great. Oh and Amanda told the leaders to make a structure, like our camp' moscot. Then half way through, Weiyong came telling us that 'do you always do what people tells you to do?' Anyway the whole thing is about the making of the golden calf. So after that we did a short skit to the people about the story of the golden calf. Weiyong was damn funny that time. haha!
Third stop is at Sembawang park. We had laser quest which is sooooooo fun! It like the CS comes to life! We get to use guns and try to kill other teams. However, it was quite saddening when I actually couldn't survive for a minute, because I was trying to run from one place to another and I was open so i was shot and that is how i died. Sad. Haha! They also provided us with the camo cream. I didn want to apply anything but... some people just have to apply that on me. Sian. Especially that Sherman went to apply on my face -- After that, we had the amazing race. Yet again I didn know I could keep running. Suprised that my stamina is there when I didn run for almost a year? nice! So we ran from Sembawang park all the way to Yishun Town Secondary. We were in the third place out of the six. YAY!
Fourth stop is of course the school. Slept in the sports hall and we played another water game which is the Battleship. Fun, and Kheng Soon sure is a naughty boy because he went to fill the bag with cold water and he started to spray at me. -- thx ah. So we ended the camp with skits from each group. Mine skit is based on the book of Joshua 2. Bascially is about the spies go to spy the land and went to hide in a prostitue house. I think my team did a good job though. Last but not least the prize giving time! My team won second in place. YAY! and to my suprised, I won the best campers award. :p happy!
In camp I was called "aunty" again -- so sad sia! I dun really remember why they called me aunty, if Im not wrong, should be because I called Chris uncle and that is when all the things start. haha:P And and and I really like the messenger for the camp, Fuji! He is a really good speaker. Damn good! :D
