family Pictures, Images and Photos

Quite happy today. Anyway my class is seriously awesome! Second week of school, and I have Ahgong(T.H), Mummy(Joycelyn), Brother(Kai Young), Sister(Priscillia). So cool isn't it? How fast has our class bond till we are like a family. This just brings back the memories of W15E. Times changes...

First day of SLA and I have been busying rushing to class and to the booth. I'm glad that our IG still has its glory where more than 100 people sign up on the first day! I explained the stuff until my mouth is so dry. LOL. After all the recruiting of all the freshies, we had our momentum practice for breaking.

Since the song change again, we have to start all over. However, this time is so much better. All of us are so high and started doing stupid stuff. A practice has turn into something more relaxing... Now that we are around 3/4 of the song, we are able to show Zaini that we as an IG, dances together, stays together. :D

Been given 24 hours...

First week of school has just been dancing my way through. Though is tiring, but I like the dance practices we had this few days. Somehow it just feels great after every lesson, even if we are tired, hungry, sticky, smelly....whatever. Haha! Well, after that incident now our IG is alot better. Now is to prepare a great performance for Momentum 2. Been asking people to go, but the number of people who really are going....I'm not sure. Well, I just thanks for their support. :D
And I love my class :D
Always trying my best to do my best.
My best...

There was once in youth gathering, we are suppose to compete who can build the tallest structure with a certain resources given. At first, my team was an obvious winner. Our structure is the tallest. However, at the very last mintue, at that very moment, the structure fell. Causing our structure to be the worse of all. Everyone laughed. As a team leader, it was definitely an heartache. Even though it was just a small thing. I see everyone's effort being put in, everyone trying to work together to build the tallest structure. In the end...

I know that I taking this thing damn hard. So hard that I dun even want to talk about what has happened. It a small thing, in fact very small. But you know what? Even this small thing, I can't even get it, what about the other things which are bigger? I know there is always a chance, always an opportunity, but seriously, so what? When you trying to get it, putting it so much effort, putting in so much hope, in a second, everything will be gone. What are all the efforts for? What are all the hopes for? When they are going to gone in a second...In return, it just the pain.

When efforts dun pay off...

There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town. One Easter Sunday morning, he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit. Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to speak. "I was walking through town yesterday when I saw a young boy coming toward me swinging this bird cage. On the bottom of the cage were three little wild birds, shivering with cold and fright.

I stopped the lad and asked, "What you got there, son?"
"Just some old birds," came the reply.
"What are you gonna do with them?" I asked.
"Take 'em home and have fun with 'em," he answered
"I'm gonna tease 'em and pull out their feathers to make 'em fight. I'm gonna have a real good time"
"But you'll get tired of those birds sooner or later. What will you do?"
"Oh, I got some cats," said the little boy. "They like birds. I'll take 'em to them."
The pastor was silent for a moment. "How much do you want for those birds, son?"
"Huh?? !!! Why, you don't want them birds, mister. They're just plain old field birds. They don't sing. They ain't even pretty!"
"How much?" the pastor asked again.
The boy sized up the pastor as if he were crazy and said,
"$10?"

The pastor reached in his pocket and took out a ten dollar bill. He placed it in the boy's hand. In a flash, the boy was gone. The pastor picked up the cage and gently carried it to the end of the alley where there was a tree and a grassy spot Setting the cage down, he opened the door, and by softly tapping the bars persuaded the birds out, setting them free.

Well, that explained the empty bird cage on the pulpit, and then the pastor began to tell this story.

One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting. "Yes, sir, I just caught the world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!"
"What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked.
Satan replied, "Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I'm really gonna have fun!"
"And what will you do when you get done with them?" Jesus asked.
"Oh, I'll kill 'em," Satan glared proudly.
"How much do you want for them?" Jesus asked
"Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. Why, you'll take them and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you. You don't want those people!!"
"How much?" He asked again.
Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, "All your blood, tears and your life."
Jesus said, "DONE!"

Then He paid the price.
The pastor picked up the cage he opened the door and he walked from the pulpit.

Notes:
Isn't it funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell.
Isn't it funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also "believes" in God).
Isn't it funny how you can send a thousand jokes through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing?
Isn't it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me.
I pray, for everyone that they will be blessed by God in a way special for them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERYL!
Went to buy 18 kinder joy, put it in a nice box and went to her house to suprise her. :D
She let us try both the chocolate cake and cookies that JiaWei had baked for her. Nice! haha!
Shopping in Orchard road is nice But since today is a public holiday, it actually quite crowded there. Too bad, now that I am so broke, I couldn't buy anything. lol.

Why is Good Friday referred to as “good”? What the Jewish authorities and Romans did to Jesus was definitely not good (see Matthew chapters 26-27). However, the results of Christ’s death are very good! Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” First Peter 3:18 tells us, “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit.”

Many Christian churches celebrate Good Friday with a subdued service, usually in the evening, in which Christ’s death is remembered with solemn hymns, prayers of thanksgiving, a message centered on Christ suffering for our sakes, and observance of the Lord's Supper. Whether or not Christians choose to “celebrate” Good Friday, the events of that day should be ever on our minds because the death of Christ on the cross is the paramount event of the Christian faith.

Make ready the wood on the altar, the time for the offering is near....

The word 'Maundy' comes from a Latin word "mandatum" which means "commands." Maundy Thursday reminds us of the two great commands that our Lord Jesus has given to His disciples-the command to love one another, and the command to partake the bread and share the cup.

In this Lenten season we have heard our Lord's call to intensify our struggle against sin, death and the devil- all that keeps us away from loving God and each other. This is the struggle to which we were committed at Baptism; God's forgiveness and the power of is Spirit to amend our lives continue with us because of His love for us in Jesus, our Saviour.

It is, however, in the Holy Communion that the members of Christ's body participate most intimately in His love. Remembering our Lord's last supper with His disciples, we eat the bread and we share the cup of this meal. Together we receive the Lord's gift of Himself and participate in that new covenant which makes us one in Him. In Holy Communion we also receive the promise of the heavenly feast when Christ comes again, where we will love God and each other perfectly at last!

On the night in which He was betrayed, our Lord gave us a new command to love one another as He has first loved us. As a sign of our commitment to obey His word, and to follow His example, we wash one another's feet during the service.

Lord God, in a wonderful sacrament You have left us a memorial of Your suffering and death, and of Your unbounded love for us. May we indeed love one another as You have loved us, serving one another and forgiving one another, that all may know that we are Your disciples. May this sacrament of Your body and blood so work in us that the way we live will proclaim the redemption You have brought; for You live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God now and forever. Amen.

Carpet-ed floor sure wasn't a nice place to dance in. Our studio was somehow being used and we have to use another room where the floor is carpet-ed. Larry taught us windmil and swips which was quite bad. The place is so small! All of us were like fighting for space. Some of us got carpet burnt which was p-a-i-n-f-u-l! Jason worse! His head bled from doing lots of windmil. Nice!

Anyway, I not sure how is our IG going to go on with such a bad news coming from Larry.

Watched Shinjuku Incident with DG. The show is nice! Worth watching but little did I expect that Jackie Chan could make such a scary show too. LOL. Since the show involves of mafia, it no wonder the show is so bloody and eeee....! nvm :P Because of a little thing and they start chopping hands and stuff....this kinda show how cruel human can be...

Been busy with choir this few days as Good Friday and Easter Sunday is coming. We gonna have a great presentation! There are some videos made according to the songs that we sing. Shall post it up after Easter then :D

Pretty much the first time I went clubbing. Going there was to support C.A.S. as there is a dance competition going on that day in DXO. The whole thing was quite boring in the first place because there is practically nothing much we can do other than eat and drink. LOL. Only when the dance floor is open up for us to dance. Plus it was ladies night, so entry fee and free flow drinks are free for us! COOL! haha :P Anyway congrats C.A.S on winning the third in place! :D
